I know. You'll be shocked. I've made some art and am posting it to my blog. I have actually made more art recently but haven't found the oomph to upload it. I made these this morning and was so pleased that I thought I'd share.
These were made by using the embellishing machine to felt all sorts of bits and bobs of silk, organza, fibres, rovings, bits of silk rods and more to a base of emerald green felt. Once felted, I added the odd hand embroidered stitch, some sequins and a couple of organza 'flowers'.
Needless to say, they look much better in real life - really vivid colours.

Hello! I love these! I clicked on your photo to enlarge and boy oh boy these are just gorgeous. It may have been a while since you posted, but I for one want to encourage you to share more with me. I am a relatively new follower but the little bit I have maneuvered around your blog, your work is so inspiring. I clicked on "Little Beauties" (I think that is what it was, after all it was 30 seconds ago!) and saw some of you Asian work. I am particularly drawn to all forms of Asian art and what I saw there was beautiful. I'm going to continue to wander thru your archive but look forward to your next post!!!!!
